Weekly ELSAMARIT Edition - Celebrating Green ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š

Green holds a special place in my heartโ€”it's a color that symbolizes freshness, vitality, and renewal. Today, I want to share with you three of my favorite green delights: matcha, limes, and pistachios. These vibrant treasures not only add color to life but also bring unique flavors and health benefits that I adore. This week- especially with St. Patrickโ€™s day just a few days away- itโ€™s fun to get into this holiday spirit!

Matcha: The Green Elixir of Calm and Energy, this finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves holds a special place in my heart. With its rich antioxidants and amino acids, matcha provides a gentle caffeine boost without the jitters, promoting a sense of alertness and focus. Whether enjoyed as a traditional ceremonial tea or incorporated into lattes, smoothies, or desserts, matcha infuses each moment with a soothing yet invigorating essence. Basically Iโ€™m surviving off of it ๐Ÿ™Œ

Limes: The Zesty Citrus Powerhouse, with their tangy flavor and refreshing aroma, are a zesty citrus powerhouse that brightens up any dish or drink. Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, limes offer a host of health benefits, including immune support and digestion aid. Whether freshly squeezed over seafood, salads, or cocktails, or zested into desserts and marinades, limes infuse each bite and sip with a burst of citrusy freshness. They have really found their way into my kitchen as a true staple. I really got into limes living in LA, with lime trees on every other corner they were incorporated into many of my meals and cocktails!! Now in Florida I tried my hand at making the infamous Key Lime pie and it was fantastic! Totally forgot to take pics to share but there will be another time!

Pistachios: Nature's Nutty Gem, with their distinctive green hue and buttery flavor, are SOMETHING. Packed with essential nutrients like protein, fiber, and healthy fats, pistachios offer a satisfying crunch and a wealth of health benefits. From supporting heart health to promoting weight management, these green wonders make a delicious and nutritious snack option. LOVE anything flavored pistachio. Iโ€™ve shared below a super easy but eye catching salad that can be enjoyed anytime!!

Pistachio and Citrus Salad

  1. Cut citrus of choice, cut up cute

  2. Plate them up all fancy and fun

  3. Drizzle your best olive oil, now add a little more

  4. Sprinkle a blended mix of chopped pistachios, cumin and dried fennel
